Another Good Story From LAX

Recently, I took my husband's aunt who is 81 (with Alzheimer’s) from LA to Philadelphia.  She was moving back to PA, so we had 2 HUGE bags, her walker, a cane and another carry-on.  Outside of the departure terminal, we found out that our flight was going to be 2 hours late in departing.

This is when Karen Howard came to help us with a wheelchair.  Karen was amazing.  She took control (physically) of our bags and the wheelchair.  She took us to the right person at the ticket counter and made sure that our bags were tagged and on their way.  Then, she took us though the security.  I would not have been able to navigate the ticket counter or security without Karen.  All the while, she was very calm and reassuring that all was well in her hands.

Karen left us at a restaurant near the gate.  She then went to our gate and found out that the gate had been changed.  She came back to the restaurant to tell us the new gate and when the plane was re-scheduled to depart.

Karen really went well beyond helping us with wheelchair assistance and we wanted you to know what an excellent job she did for us.  She made all the difference!  What could have been a very stressful experience went very smoothly thanks to Karen.
We hope you will let Karen know how much we appreciated her help and positive manner.
